Alina Szypula received her Medical Degree (M.D.) from Gdansk Medical Academy, Gdansk, Poland in 1992. For a period of 4 years, Alina was also a student of Claude Diolosa, PhD., renowned Doctor of Acupuncture.
Alina came to the United States and pursued a 4-year program of Traditional, Chinese, Korean and Japanese acupuncture styles at the New England School of Acupuncture in Watertown, Massachusetts, and in 1996 graduated with a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture. She studied Herbal Medicine for 2 years with Will Morris, D.O.M. (Doctor of Oriental Medicine) in Boston, MA, and completed a 3-year program in Chinese Herbal Medicine at the Won Institute. Alina was a student of Dr. Richard Tan, and Dr. Palden Carlson, a disciple of the Grand Master of Acupuncture C. C. Tung.
Alina has been in practice since 1996 and currently sees patients at AT Wellness Center in Creamery, PA which is in Skippack Township (more than 20 years practicing in this location). Alina has incorporated her years of experience and knowledge of Chinese and Japanese styles of acupuncture with her ongoing educational pursuits to create her own unique and effectual style of treatment. Alina utilizes her knowledge and experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chinese herbs as adjunctive therapy, all resulting in a comprehensive and caring patient experience. Alina believes in preventive medicine which includes nutrition, proper breathing methods, Qi Gong exercises and other aspects of self-care.
